Announcing
Kindred Spirits: A Collection is now available on Rounder Records. This new compilation of Carrie Newcomer music is a generous collection of 19 songs drawing from Newcomer's catalogue of 12 Rounder Records releases.
Carrie Newcomer’s music has always explored the intersection of the spiritual and the daily, the sacred and the ordinary. This haunting collection features songs that ask questions rather than give easy answers, embrace the momentary and fleeting, and give a grateful nod to all that is mysterious.
The result is a resonant soundtrack for a world that is both sacred and ordinary, reflective and forward thinking.
