Indian Tea

Today I worked with High school students moving a story into a song format. Then I worked with the high school performance students as they get ready for a peace and justice concert on Friday. Very cool students from a great variety of countries. Outside the Embassy I keep seeing these little shrines on the sidewalks. Soon I'll need to just walk around and take a few photos. The rice and Dahl is excellent, and I'm already hooked on Indian style tea (ginger spices, black tea and milk -and sweet) it's served in little white cups. Just enough for a conversation before it cools. John bought a round today at lunch and he doesn't even drink tea. Great teachers in this school. . .I mean passionate about education. I'm very inspired and moved by their openness and graciousness. more about that later. . .
