Courage and Hope

Just wanted to write with a word of encouragement and hope. It isn't over until it's over...that's true.
Mother Teresa said "we are not called to be successful, we are called to be faithful." I think this is one of those time when we hold fast to the knowledge that 1/2 of this country doesn't believe in the policies of George Bush and the neo conservatives. This is not a mandate...it is still a very close call. Time to encourage one another and regroup and maybe have a good sigh or rant. . .then hand in hand back to work for the forces of good and light.
The power of goodness and light will not be stopped. The power of true compassion and the real values of the spiritual core of all great faiths will not be quenched by radical and repressive political movements.
We are still very much a living and powerful force for good. . .let no CNN or Fox news report convince us of anything different.
Time to comfort one another in a possible set-back, but encourage one another in the next important work to be done.
It's not over until it's over and when the votes are all counted it is still only the beginning...tomorrow (or when ever the final count is finished) we will be on the doorstep of either John Kerry or George Bush with determination and resolve demanding the same thing...justice.
